If someone shows interest in a property you're representing as an ambassador, follow these steps:
Gather Information and Qualify Your Contact: Collect the interested party's contact details and ask specific questions about their search to gauge how serious they are as a buyer/tenant.
Respond Promptly: Acknowledge their interest. Whilst you might not have all the information about the property at this stage, simply acknowledging their interest will help build a relationship with them. Connect with the Listing Agent: It's worthwhile connecting with the listing agent to tell them you've had some interest. Once you've qualified your contact, and have their consent to share their details with the listing agent, you can use the referral portal to securely share their information, and create a referral agreement.
Facilitate Communication: Offer to arrange a direct communication channel between the interested party and the listing agent, or if preferred, coordinate the communication yourself, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged throughout the process. This could be as simple as creating a WhatsApp Group or email thread, or Zoom call. Ask your contact what they'd prefer.
Stay Informed: Keep track of the progress and be available to assist with your contact further if needed, maintaining a supportive role in the potential transaction. Afterall, this is your contact, and you hold the stronger relationship with them.
